It’s a self-protective aspect of human nature to put aside painful memories, and that’s what most of us have done about the murderous riots in the summer of 2020 that were sparked by George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis.
But for the people of that fallen city, and for all the cops across the nation who were abandoned and betrayed by their feckless political leaders, the pain still burns bright. It ought to burn for the rest of us, too, because we still are suffering the consequences, in the catastrophic breakdown of law and order nationwide. We will continue to do so while the lies about George Floyd’s death are left to fester. A brilliant new crowdfunded documentary, “The Fall of Minneapolis,” aims to remedy our collective amnesia about the events of May 25, 2020.. .. From false testimony in Chauvin’s trial to police bodycam footage of Floyd’s arrest that was withheld for two months, to the autopsy report that was altered after the FBI got involved, Collin presents a damning forensic record that needs avenging. Collin draws on new evidence unveiled last month in a sexual harassment lawsuit, filed by former Hennepin County prosecutor Amy Sweasy, against then-County Attorney Mike Freeman. .. Sweasy and three other prosecutors refused to work on the case because it “violated professional and ethical rules.” In sworn testimony, prosecutors told of the “insane … extreme premium pressure” they were under to throw the book at Chauvin and charge the other cops because “the city was burning down.” .. One said that Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison “taking over the Chauvin cases was difficult particularly when we had a governor who kind of threw us under the bus.” The original autopsy report by Hennepin County Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker the day after Floyd died found there was “no physical evidence suggesting that Mr. Floyd died of asphyxiation. “Mr. Floyd did not exhibit signs of petechiae, damage to his airways or thyroid, brain bleeding, bone injuries, or internal bruising.” Sweasy claims that Baker also told her that day that “there were no medical findings that showed any injury to the vital structures of Mr. Floyd’s neck. There were no medical indications of asphyxia or strangulation.” .. But then she claims Baker told her: “Amy, what happens when the actual evidence doesn’t match up with the public narrative that everyone’s already decided on? … This is the kind of case that ends careers.” On May 31, 2020, Sweasy said Baker shared the results of toxicology tests with prosecutors, which showed that Floyd, 46, had a “fatal level of fentanyl” in his blood, along with methamphetamine. Floyd also had COVID and severe “arteriosclerotic heart disease,” with one artery 75% obstructed, and “hypertensive heart disease.” .. The private forensic pathologist he hired, Dr. Michael Baden, declared, without seeing Floyd’s body or slides of the autopsy, that “there was no underlying medical problem that caused or contributed to his death.” The documentary says the FBI met with Baker after Baden’s review and soon after the official autopsy report was changed to find Chauvin was to blame. Floyd’s cause of death had become “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.” https://nypost.com/2023/11/20/opinion/real-truth-aid-the-floyd-lies/ Told you so. Innocent men sent to prison to appease the ignorant mob. |

The event fit a narrative close enough that with a bit of twisting, just a small amount of police and medial investigators reports to alter, the social democrats have a wonderful rally cause to energize the communities just prior to the election.
Recall the timing of the Occupy Wall Street movement. The propagandist are looking for a spark to set off riots this summer for the election. Biden is that weak of a candidate that they'll likely deploy the riots again. Abortion? Second Amendment? Race? |

The lack of expression on Chauvin's face infuriated the ACABers into spittle spraying hysterics. It negated all facts into irrelevance.
It "justified" outright lies in the service of the dims race hatred and civilization destroying agenda. Exactly like Saint trayvon and Saint brown and Saint king...and all the other human filth twisted into heroes in the war against sickitating whiteness. |

We see videos every week, right here in GD, of innocent civilians getting fucked over by bad apples. It's only fair, every once in a while innocent cops get fucked by the same system.

FGF. He was a POS and Chauvin did not cause his death, GF did with all of the combos listed, most notably, the fentanyl OD.
All that said, the only thing Chauvin did wrong was not pay close enough attention to his prisoner, which was virtually impossible with that gathered |

I worked in some of the worst areas of L.A County as a fireman paramedic for over 30 years yet I would never be stupid enough to say I've seen it all. I have seen 6 officer involved shootings. I have seen cops thrashed by bad guys. I have seen lots of people beaten silly and bitten bad by police dogs. I've seen the PCP'ers and angel dust whackos hog tied in the back of cop cars until it was decided that hog tied people could die. I've seen cops beat the ever loving shit out of people that fucked with us. I mean, going to the hospital beating. I never lost any sleep over any of it. I don't lose sleep over George Floyd croaking.
I have never, ever seen cops kneel on somebody's neck or chest until they quit breathing. I've seen people dogpiled but as soon as restraints were applied everybody got off. Once a dirtbag was cuffed the cops got off. If they were suspected of an OD, we were called in. Cops should be smart enough to know there are cameras everywhere and how to save themselves. Call it optics if you want but if those cops would have been standing around counting their change when the FD showed up none of this would have made the news and they would still have their jobs, homes and dental plans intact. |

Chauvin was a product of their own system. That city had been under democrat control for decades. Every level, every appointee, every manager on the same page, the police included, their standard operating procedures, policies, all written and approved by them. They recruited Chauvin, they investigated him, he passed all their tests, and met all of their expectations. He went thru their training academy with their people, their instructors, no outliers, their curriculum, their standards and passed. He then went thru a field training program, where they reinforced that training, they instilled their policies, their operating standards, their culture, the policies that they wrote and all approved of. Every year he went thru inservice training, policy and procedures updates, evaluations, and hell, he later became a field training officer… he’s not selected to train other incoming officers, if he was some rogue cop, a cowboy or someone that didn’t follow all their rules!
All that, and they couldn’t understand why chauvin and other police acted the way they did! |

Who I really feel sorry for is the other officers who were subordinates who got caught up in this. What isn't talked about much is GF and Chauvin new each other. They both worked part time at the same night club. |

View Quote This ^ There was NO reason for Chauvin to sit there for all that time with that smirk on his face looking around smugly at the gathering crowd like he was doing. He may not have been directly responsible for the death BUT, he worked really hard at making it look like he was. My take from watching him is that he's a sadistic SOB that uses his badge as cover for his actions so I have no issues with him getting his dick slammed in the door. The optics of his idiot shit that day was the issue used to set that entire clusterfuck in motion and if he rots in jail, it'll never come close to payment in full for the trouble his actions caused for so many. My 2 cents and worth exactly what you paid for it. ![]() |
