I have a 2006 F-150 extended cab that I'm fixing up for a month long hunting trip this fall. The previous owner installed a crappy cheap Pioneer stero that you can't touch the volume knob without it going into menu mode. Probably stock speakers, which the driver's side just stopped working. I haven't purchased or installed a car stereo in 30 years. I need something simple and reliable with bluetooth so I can listen to podcasts and my Amazon playlists that gets good local AM/FM reception when traveling. Rugged speakers that can take gravel road and off road abuse. I do crank it up rather loud occasionally to 70-80s rock.
Cost isn't a big issue. Nothing fancy/complicated or cheap/junk.
I welcome you recommendations.
