Loving this thing
Ibis Mojo HD5 with a GX SRAM setup.  I’m surprised at how smooth the GX is as my Scout has XTR.  I do have a set of I9 enduro 305s and a set of Magura brakes to swap on.   Attachment Attached File

Nice.

Maguras are the shit. Ton of power with great modulation.

Swapped out the GX cranks for a set of RF 6C’s and my I9s are sitting waiting for my tires to get here.   I’ve put some miles on the bike and am getting really comfortable on it.  Can’t wait to get up to DuPont next week.

Currently riding an 8 year old Niner Jet 9. When this thing finally dumps I’m getting an Ibis

I love the calipers but their levers are fragile pieces of shit.
The line between getting a seal on the lever to bleed and stripping out the threads is thin.  I stripped one just going finger tight.   I had a set of SLX levers that I threw on and that setup is amazing.  I need the levers back for another bike so I think I’m going to order another Shimano set maybe XT.

Live and learn

I haven't had that problem, but I can confirm they are a son of a bitch to bleed.

the two syringe method is BS.

my new build will have MT5's

Take a look at the Shigura setup.  It’s not what I planned but that I ended up with one I love it.
MT5/XT is what most are doing.
