When they make a lefty version I'll own one. Until then I'll suffer with my Benelli.

Love my 1301.
Only thing I hate is bumping that big ass button and having a shell load on top of the gate locking up the gun. Fuck! |

You can’t load anymore shells until you shoot and it loads that round or you pull the charging handle and chamber the next round |

There is no gen 3; they're just hyping the gen 2 which is current production.

This new part is not included in either the gen 1 or gen2 tactical 3” pro style lifter |

View Quote what do you need "lefty" on it? the safety? cast-on? you can swap out some shims to set you up with cast-on so that the stock fits better. the safety can be reversed. 1301 Safety Reversal the only thing left is the loading port/charging handle and I actually prefer it to be right-side charging, makes port-loading a breeze |

Was holding out for an ODG Gen 2 but this seems to offer a few improvements and avoid the need for the Nordic + ext. Anyone know if the hardware at that front of the tube is metal and whether it has a QD socket?

Looks like the same thing I bought a few weeks ago at AU. Factory 7 round tube and funky clamp.
|

I replace the funky plastic clamp with a Nordic mount that I modified. Factory tube cover is larger diameter than Nordic.

Of course they release a new one- I picked a gen 2 two weeks ago.
Honestly for the price I’d rather buy a gen 2 and add what I want though. |

In 5 years of running a 1301 and having them run through classes I've never seen anyone hit the shell release hard enough unintentionally to cause it to dump a shell on the lifter. |
