My mother asked me to look into a replacement battery for her Dell Inspiron 5555 laptop.  Apparently the battery went out and she bought a replacement on Amazon, which was a dud.  The OEM battery from Dell is $100+.  Is there a cheaper replacement battery that isn't garbage?

When you are looking at $150 oem battery vs a $15 replacement the replacements are generally more likely to be duds, but most people still go that route because of the cost difference.

Yeah, problem is, she is going to spend the absolute least amount of money possible, and expect it to act like an OEM battery.  The $18 Amazon battery was obviously crap, I was hoping there might be something in the $50 that might be a decent performer.
