No . what does that mean
They turn of the winning lane light during qualifying
Has to be driver rule change , I cannot imagine the fans would like it

Brittany Force of JFR sure went for a wild ride last week . Sponsorship was of no help

My dad would take me to the old Dallas International Speedway back in the day . I sure miss him

Yeah, motor racing is having a tough time with the new generations.  I don't have any brilliant ideas on how to attract more fans.

One thing we see in the pro ranks is that there are fewer top tier teams now due to less mega buck sponsors to support the crazy expenses.  I see a bright side to that in that every event you see a few local teams qualify.  I enjoy the little guys spending the annual budget on one race and just having a ball with their family and friends.

I guess my favorite era was the mid-to-late 70s.  The T/F cars were still innovating and getting faster and safer.  The F/C looked like funny "cars" instead of blobs.  Pro Stock had stock bodies and a lot of diversity of engines and makes.

Now my favorite is Pro Mod.  It is also losing a lot of it's diversity but it is still pretty hairy and fun.
