For years, I told my wife buying shitty shoes just because of how they looked was stupid. Also she’d buy cheap, fashion shoes other than Brooks running shoes. She’ll only run in Brooks.
Over the years she’s finally listened to me and only bought comfortable, quality shoes. Downside they’re expensive as hell. OP, tell your wife to look into Thursday Boots. Quality, fit well and are comfortable but a little more than Payless. |

Years of bad shoes gave my wife bunions and a hammer toe. Please tell your wife she’s doesn’t want those. Her left foot is already showing early signs of a bunion and I promise you, they suck.

Not a bad suffering for the image she wanted or settled for. Her reasoning is that it's all yer fault for not buying her some appropriate footwear. Just ignore it. Now you have to get it back on course and show her just how much it doesn't matter and that she just needs sex. You can do it, focus.

There have been plenty of times that I knew I was going to spend the day with a shovel in my hand, knew if I didn't wear gloves that I would get blisters, then didn't wear gloves.

When I was dating my wife her sister wanted to go to the state fair. My wife told her to wear comfortable shoes. Did she listen? No. She wore some "cute" boots she just got. After only about 1.5 hours of walking she was complaining how bad her feet hurt. We had to leave about 30 minutes later. Edit - however I have seen boots do much, much worse. Go on a 12+ mile forced march and there will always be some massive blisters and open wounds on heels and the bottoms of feet. |

@OnlineAllTheTime hey I was just about to post a thread asking for women advice.. do your kind still use pore strips? Can you recommend something? My nose is a minefield of blackheads and sebaceous filaments that I don't like to squeeze out but do because I don't have pore strips. I tried to find some at target and walmart but they weren't there which seemed odd. Did they fall out of use in modern times? |
