First child on the way.
I’ve been driving around for an hour with My wife from shitty Sonic, to shitty DQ, hunting down a business willing to sell us soft serve …because that’s what she alleges that she’s craving. Meanwhile, we live downtown and have an ice cream shop 1/4 mile from our house. Edit: she says the serve gelato, not soft serve. |

First pregnancy?

You will look back on this and laugh.
I cannot tell you the number of 1030pm frosty runs I've made for three pregnancies. |

Yes. First pregnancy. New experience for both of us.
She did blow off the yard after I mowed. And she’s driving my drunk ass around looking for this ice cream. So it’s actually not that bad. I just think the specific craving is hilarious…and insane. |

After the child is born the insanity will increase exponentially and then, eventually, subside to 75% of the current level when the child is ~10 years old. I’m not joking.

The day before our first was born, I had to bring my wife to cold stone. She finished hers and mine. Earlier that day she had spicy Thai food, too.

Pickles with peanut butter
Ben and Jerry's cherry Garcia Chocolate (she hates chocolate normally) Rye bread with cinnamon 4 pregnancies later, the crazy never went away. Have fun with it, at least you don't live 60 miles from town like we do. 1am runs for any craving caused a fight (I was working 12s or 16s through all 4). |

Ours were grocery store items, not fast food, an often I rolled out 'alone' to buy 'em. She found some isles at the grocery nauseating. It was a phase.

My wife craved Mexican pizzas from taco bell but with refried beans instead of the meat.
You should have seen me explaining that to the drive through person three of four times a week. She had hyperemesis though (threw up all day every day for first 20 weeks) so by the time she actually had cravings to eat again I would have moved the earth to get her food. |

just tell her the eating for 2 part is bullshit. See how it goes

My wife never asked me to run out for anything. She was too busy sleeping any time she wasn't working.

For one of ours my wife craved spicy food. She usually can’t handle spice and I’m the one that like spicy so when she started getting these cravings I was like “ hell yeah now we can eat the good stuff..”
She was on another level somehow and turned out she was eating spicy stuff that I couldn’t even handle lol. It was a trip |

I had to go to the store 4 days in a row for different requests when my wife was pregnant. I told her number 4 was the last time and that she was on her own after that
