Mossberg is introducing retro style variants of their pump action shotguns: 500 Retrograde:

Neat shotguns, but an unfortunate name.
Retrograde - to point or move backwards. Not something you would generally want associated with a shotgun. ...just sayin.

A little pricey,but the furniture looks like actual Walnut vs. stained birch.
Too bad the stock wasnt a 13" lop. |

That’s definitely better than some of mossbergs other offerings in the past few years. I’m a fan of the old corn cob style fore end.
I just wish they would have done the same retro thing to their 410 pump as well. |

Am I the only one that hates bluing on newly manufactured guns? I'm willing to accept it of old guns, but a new one must come at a discount for me to accept inferior preservation.
