So a prosecutor decides if it was a good shoot or not based on a patch rather than the evidence of the shooting?

Quoted: I did some shooting this morning with my AR and wore my plate carrier. Had a good time. I’m sure someone thought I was a douche and/or a loser. Don’t care. View Quote Same. I’ve also MOLLE’d a bunch of mags to mine and practice offhand at my local range. I’m not there to impress, only to train as best as I can. I’m not gonna be one of those guys who has a rifle anchored down and spends 20 minutes between shots. Oh - and I only have a small Hesco patch ?? |

I think the OP has this completely backwards.
Civs can put these things on anything they want. If, when I was in the service, one of my guys put a non-authorized patch on their uniform or any issue equipment and we'd be having a long conversation about it while they were in the front-leaning-rest position. |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: So a prosecutor decides if it was a good shoot or not based on a patch rather than the evidence of the shooting? Remember the Infamous "Surprise Cockfag!" Ejection port cover in the AZ hallway shooting... Well, the fact that he basically murdered that guy might have something to do with it. The fact is though that these sorts of things can look bad in the case of a marginal shooting. I wouldn't "decorate" my carry gun/gear. For range toys or even a home defense gear? Nobody cares. |

No adult should have cartoon girls on their stuff. A lot of Nazis died from bombs dropped from airplanes with cartoon girls on them. Those were American cartoon girls, not Japanese. We bombed the Japanese with those same cartoon girls. Anyone that now puts Japanese cartoon girls on their stuff are wearing the gear of our mortal enemies. ETA: Look at the name of the person I originally quoted. His name is in German, which is proof he cannot be trusted. Using the language of our enemies from 80 years ago is pretty fishy |

I have a bunch of patches. With the exceptions of one or two, all of them have been given to me - either included with orders from vendors, or from events (like Cola Warrior), or trade shows, or things like that.
I don't have any on my gear (with the exception of a VA flag patch on my helmet), but if it will offend or annoy people, then I definitely need to put a bunch of them all over my stuff. |

Quoted: I laugh at military guys with “morale patches.” I thought that was just a civilian thing. View Quote Honestly this. The only military guys that I ever see wear non-unit specific morale patches, are the posers. The guys that usually won't come out and say they are something that they are not, but want you to assume that they are something more than actually are. Ironically, some of these guys have actually done some real shit, they just want it to have been operator level tier 1 shit... There was a guy here in Alabama that was a medic and deployed with an MP unit. He actually got into some harry shit and handled himself like a professional. He somewhere came into contact with some SF guys, and when he got home, he decided that he was an 18D. Ended up creating a beard oil company that also sold, you guessed it, morale patches. |
