It really is a good film.

Great score and soundtrack.

No SJW messaging. Just a girl that overcomes her circumstances to save her people while finding herself.

It was gurl powrery, but still held enough conventional storytelling elements that it worked. Much better than Frozen 2’s White People Apologetic: the Native American Chronicles.

It was a story about an empowered little girl. Good on her.

I mean, disney IS evil, and is trying to brainwash our children, but..

IMO moana is the best modern day Disney movie, I really enjoyed it. If you’re like me and don’t want to give disney any money to support their agenda, but still want to enjoy some of their classics with your kids, you can buy what I’m sure are totally legit authentic Disney DVDs off eBay for like $10 a piece

GF is a hula teacher. All her kid students enjoyed the movie. We liked it too. When she was doing kids' BD parties pre-COVID the mom's always wanted a Moana theme.

An excellent story of a young girl overcoming expectations of herself and taking a difficult journey to not only find herself but ultimately save her tribe.

All of this without a romantic interest needed to drive the plot.

A great movie for my daughters to watch over and over.

Seen it 10-15 times, but never all the way through start to finish. It was the grand’s movie of choice for a few weeks before I got her hooked on Cars. Maybe one day....But after visiting Hawaii a few years ago, I really like it.

Good movie, although it was kind of a dick move for Moana's "stone at the top of the mountain" to be a shell, so whoever is the leader after her will have to either move it or start a new pile of stones.

I really enjoyed it, and my kids have watched it a million times.

Having had to watch both films on repeat for hours when the whole family was down with the flu, Frozen 2 is a pile of trash compared to Frozen.

My brother and I both get torn up at the end. Which is funny, since we live about 1500 miles apart and didn't talk about it til one day I was there and my daughter wanted to watch it.
