A dear friend of mine who I have played dungeons and dragons with for years painted up our current pc group. This is a seafaring campaign. We also have ship minis i will post later.

My wife's character a selkie bard with her 2 forms, her character barks for vicious mockery.

My character tugboat, dwarven barbarian fighter marine background, he learned about seamanship from a series of rock books at home about the dwarven pirate "sootbeard" can't swim.

Our goliath ranger, I think ranger, ranged support is very good.

I'm not an emotional guy, but these miniatures were all 3d printed hand filed, painted and had these tiny leds installed. And are exactly how we described them. I teared up.
   Rob, the painter has kidney cancer, he was given months to live almost 8 years ago. Whatever medication he was taking stopped the tumor growth for 7 years......it's grown since his last PET scan. It's inoperable. There are only a few meds left they can try, they have terrible side effects. Luckily they have a new surgery that cuts the blood supply of the tumor hopefully making it shrink. If it shrinks enough it can be removed.

After a 35 year break, the death of one of our close friends gave our party the impetus to renew the fellowship and continue our adventure of our 1e campaign.  We're scattered to the winds now, but Roll20 has brought us together every Thorsday night for almost 5 years now.

I got miniatures of our characters when the guys ponied up for stl files on hero forge.  I printed them all a set, including an easily recognizable one for our missing comrade.
