I always found it quite neat but I would never buy one just not for me

Quoted: Love the Maxim, we use it as a training tool mostly. No doubt if there wasn't a tax stamp involved SiCo would never heve been able to keep up with production... https://i.imgur.com/sKRorxz.jpg View Quote Nice. It does look like Robocop's gun. |

What is a reasonable price for that, without the stamp?
And how are the stock sights? |

Are they basically a fixed barrel Glock? Will they go super happy fun with a wish.com backplate?

I wish someone would make a folding or collapsing brace for these.

Shot a buddy's. Worst trigger I ever felt but fuck, is it ever quiet and fun!!!

I got one during the BOGO sale... It was painful, but everybody got their shit. Eventually.
Do we still hate SiCo for that debacle?? |

Quoted: I wish someone would make a folding or collapsing brace for these. View Quote An Omega 9k on a G19 in a Recover brace is surprisingly handy with good length of pull. Blowback from the can with the braced pistol that close to your face can be an issue. The Omega 9k is more versatile than a Maxim 9, but probably higher blowback, and definitely longer. Not having the red dot reciprocate with the slide is another benefit to the Maxim 9. I keep looking at the M9 but so far other things take precedent. |

Quoted: On my to-do list when I can get good with 3D printing. Since the 'receiver' for the pistol is like the Sig 320 and a chassis is not a regulated item View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Want. Too bad its verboten in nj because NFA items are banned. Fuck nj.

Quoted: I hadn't even thought of that. So a B&T USW or whatever style brace is quite possible. That would be awesome. Since the 'receiver' for the pistol is like the Sig 320 and a chassis is not a regulated item That’s why I’m the kinda guy that makes a hand grenade from scratch on an Internet dare and fabricates a drop in auto disconnector from a coat hanger. Because I’m inspired by cheap whiskey. |

pretty cool. unfortunately not as versatile as a dedicated silencer imo, but still neat.

Another cool, niche product I just can't ever see spending my money on.

The non NFA one looks cool but the problem with these niche guns is lack of support when they have issues. Not that the maxim has.
