The challenge is simple sounding but can be interesting for sure.  No rules on lenses, subject, focus stacking, etc.  Just get up close and personal with someone/something and post a photo by the end of the month.

So is this an outlaw class run what you brung or are you wanting to limit things to natural light, one flash, no flash, etc?

Open class.  Run whatever you want, as complicated or simple as you like.

So, I used to upload and then download to this forum my jpegs via Photo Bucket, tried to do so tonight, however they seem to have changed their platform to a use for pay platform.

Not doing that, any recommendations where no $ are required?

D500 and the 24-120, at 120.  Freshly planted loblolly seedling covered with clay slurry from the nursery.  My crew planted about 25,000 of them today.  8 guys.

Maybe I'll get the 105 out tomorrow...

White balance looks a bit off to my eye, otherwise pretty neat.

Thanks!  Tired so I missed that one but it looks great compared to the ones I was using a warming gel on a flash. This one actually looks closer to the real fruit despite the background, and darktable is kind of fiddly if it doesn't get it right out of the gate.. I'll have to play around more later.

I have found my subject, I just need to get my gear together and have a little 1 on 1 time.

This thing was in my kitchen.
