So Shadow has come to the conclusion that for every task completed, a reward is required.

Doesn’t matter who completed the task, or what the task was, just that a task was completed.  And she gets the reward.

Wife just went upstairs to get something to drink and when she came back down Shadow was all front and center by the treat jar. Nothing about the task was related to her, but dammit, where’s my treat?!?

Indeed. Had a lab once that wanted to go out just so she could come in to get a treat.

Open door, she’d run down the steps and turn around and run right back in.
