Honestly the whole saga has been fascinating to watch and quite telling. The sheer fear expressed yesterday and today about retail investors beating the wall street titans and boys club, completely legally, at their own game is hilarious.
The fact that a reporter asked the WH spokesperson today at the press briefing shows how much reach the big dogs have. 140% exposure is insane, lol. |

Quoted: I spoke with my youngest this afternoon. (22) She said a lot of her friends are all in on the GME, AMC action right now. On one hand that is a good thing. They are getting interested in "investing". On the other hand I fear if they get their asses handed to them (which may happen) that they will be turned off on the whole concept of investing altogether. I am not sure a lot of people understand the difference between investing and outright speculation. Sure you can say they are closely tied concepts but I would hate to think that a bad experience would put people off the concept of long term investing. And I appreciate the fact that a lot of apps have opened up investing to the "little guy" and that is a great thing but I don't think this current situation is a matter of access but more of a casino/bubble situation. I guess we will see. View Quote Sir, this is a casino... |

Friday is supposed to be the call day for those shorts, but what does that mean for us? I have no idea. This may take weeks of actual squeeze, but since we are a distrubuted mass our coordination is slow, there will be many sell offs and wild spikes. And there will be no official "end". If you need money, this is not for you. Get out. not financial advice....i'm dumb, ignore me. |

This case calls, not puts. But the ideal candidate for this type of squeeze is a heavily shorted stock like GameStop. When forced short covering is also added to the mix, the positive feedback loop is fueled further. Not going to end well. |
