[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking to get a nice straight razor

So I've been using a straight razor for about 2 years now. It's a $20 old eBay razor that i just sent out and got honed. I'd like to get a nice looking razor. I've got like ~$200 to spend. I seen some Damascus razors online for sale. They looked interesting. Any brands or good websites to check out? Thanks

Look into DOVO straight razors. They have tons between 1-2 hundred, and are a pretty good brand if you want to buy new, and reasonably priced

You'll find that Amazon sells them, as well as many, many individual sites

You should also be looking at thrift shops, antique places, and ebay for used ones that need a bit of TLC to be awesome again.

Straight Razor Designs is the place you seek.

All razors come honed and ready to shave. I'd be careful with a "Damascus" straight unless it came from a reputable custom maker. Last custom razor I had cost around 800 bucks, and it was by no means a Damascus razor!
