I got a question for him regarding a transaction

What do you need to know?
I guess I should have read "the" guy. But have been in the business for 20 years |

The auto Butler is a paint protection product that is polymer Teflon based. It'll provide protection from UV, as of rain and bird droppings. You'll get a postcard in the mail every 6 months for reapplication. Will vacuum out the interior of the car and reapply. You will get three years of this.

“....Where's my goddamn checkbook? Let's get this over with...” The resignation of a man too polite and too proud to just walk away from the deal. |

I know what must have happened. It didn't come in. Now I can get you the Sports Wagon; the only problem is that it may take six weeks. I owe it to myself to tell you that if you're taking the whole tribe cross-country, the Wagon Queen Family Truckster is the way to go. You think you hate it now, but just wait until you drive it.

Salesman delivered a car to me, dealership is about 80 miles away and salesman offered to drive it to me.
He was drunk and called me from the road cause he was lost. I got him to give his location and went to meet him. Dude had two empty pints of vodka and a six pack in the car. He also damaged the car, it is minor. I never signed the Retail Purchase Agreement, the Odometer Disclosure or the As Is Statement. All of those are in my possession. I drove the vehicle home with a transit tag and had his girlfriend pick him up. My question is, having not signed the Retail Purchase Agreement or the other papers what is my recourse if I don't want to keep the car ? |

No, paying cash won’t get you a better deal.
Edit: Call his boss? |

I work for a dealership in NY. If you haven't signed anything you have no obligation. I would absolutely call the dealership and let them know what happened. And there is no way I would take a damaged car unless it is something super rare. Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions.

Did you sign any financing paperwork? |

That is one of the best stories I’ve heard and I’ve spent a lot of time in the business.

You really accepted a vehicle from a drunk salesman that had damaged the car?

Nevermind the visible damage. How many powerstalls or off-road adventures did he take in those 80 miles? Are the fluid levels in spec? I would take a hard pass. No telling what that drunk jackwagon did. Treat it like a rental car at this point and return it when done.

We had salesman get all fucked up on drugs and nodded out on the road test. He seemed like a normal guy and I guess after a few months of making money got back in to drugs. Kids don't do drugs. |

I was expecting some four square bullshit, not a drunk salesman attempting to deliver a car lol.
