My brother bought a fire pit made of steel, and the walls are cut with elvish script like the Ring from Lord of the Rings, so the script glows when a fire is burning. Pretty cool.

Made out of a inlet plenum from a 24", 4160v cooling water pump. It's probably 4' wide at the top.
Cast iron and I think it weighs about 800 lbs. Holds so much heat it will be completely empty the next morning, drop a chunk of wood into it and I'll be burning 15 minutes later.  Attached File |
