'Not looking for something geared towards commercial use, but... 'Something decent for a somewhat advanced DIYer.
I've gotten by for years with just a keen eye, tape measure and a spirit level so.. Also wondering...
Awesome tool or gimmick..?
I have this Bosch
Bosch laser Home Depot
It has the horizontal and vertical level lines and the plumb dot which is really nice if your doing work on a ceiling like hanging lights. It’s a little spendy at $300 but imo worth it. Only minor complaint is it has the 1/4x20 tripod Thread mound on the laser unit itself which is great, but it does not have a thread on any of the brackets included with the laser. It’s also AA batteries which don’t too long if your using it all day long
Been happy with this one so far.

I've used this Firecore one a handful of times in the last year and it has worked great. I'd definitely recommend getting 3-line / 3-axis and a decent fine adjustment tripod.
Firecore 3 X 360 Green Laser Level Self-leveling Three-Plane Leveling and Alignment Line Laser Tool with Pulse Mode, 2 Rechargeable Lithium Batteries, Magnetic Pivoting Base, Target Plate(F94T-XG)
I'm pretty sure that Firecore is the same as the Huepar and the other two-dozen chinese weird no-name companies.
ETA: And no, not a gimmick. They're awesome. Feels like easy mode.
