Our Panasonic cordless phones can link to a cell phone via bluetooth and make calls with it. We have Ooma for VoIP, works really well for us, but we have 100mbit synch. fiber to the house.

I need to get the antenna outside of the mesh. |

Yea, a two way amplifier (cell booster) would help. If you just need voice, it'll be cheaper than getting one that does LTE or 5G.

I have a Verizon LTE phone adapter I'd sell ya for next to nothing.

My father ditched his land line for a Straight talk home phone connect box, and the later version is voice over LTE. $17 a month after taxes, unlimited calling (non-international calls)
He's happy because he gets to keep his cordless with the speaker phone option. |
