I thought he'd be decent but his personality just doesn't fit. Alex dropped off in the later years but even at the end as an old man had enough personality to make the show. Ken has big shoes to fill and I know he was only meant to be temporary, but they can't keep him on much longer.

He is in no way likable, comes across as smarmy and condescending and sucks at reading the teleprompter. He’s just awful.

And he always speaks on daily double wagers in terms of the bet, alone, where Alex would do the math and tell you what the player's total would be if correct. It's the little things. And I hate how Ken has the upward inflection in his voice when he tells someone "Noooo." |

The new guy is not as smooth as the 30 year veteran. Who would have thought such a thing.....

Quoted: The new guy is not as smooth as the 30 year veteran. Who would have thought such a thing..... View Quote True. but alex was noticeably slipping in his final years. Ken showed the personality of rape sloth during his time on the show. Why choose him as the first guy up when alex passes? Was no one else available? |

Op, have you considered the possibility that you may be paying attention to the wrong shit?

Quoted: Op, have you considered the possibility that you may be paying attention to the wrong shit? View Quote Yes. I watch only to compare my knowledge to that of the contestants. But I can't help but notice how intelligence does not equate to the ability to host a simple quiz show. Ken is one of the goats as a contestant. But his time as host needs to be short lived. |

Agreed. I actually took 20 seconds to write to Jeopardy letting them know Ken wasn't working and they should just bring Marc Summers of Double Dare fame out of retirement and call it a day.

I'll be glad that in a few months, none of this vapid bullshit matters.
No one cares about Ken Jennings (who ever the fuck she is) or jeopardy, except people in homes that literally have nothing to do but watch propaganda, and the propaganda before the propaganda. |

You know, one can want to helicopter ride commies AND enjoy jeopardy, even just a little. At least with boycotting sportsball you get some of the message across that their BLM hate America shit doesn’t work. A quiz show is pretty low on the “makes you a gay or a commie” scale.
Some people enjoy things besides nut coal, sharpening knives and making ghille suits out of McDonald’s wrappers and pizza boxes to blend in around the national guard. I haven’t seen Ken host yet but I imagine it’s bleh. Alex hosted a few shows before and concurrent with early jeopardy, He had a lot of practice. |
|
I think Austin Rogers could have kept the integrity of the show and added a fresh new level of good energy to the show.
He was a great competitor. I hope at least that he gets to "guest host" at some point. I've heard the names of some that they are considering to guest host already and it should ruin the show for good. And fuck that little smarmy leftist Ken with his speech impediment from sucking too much commie cock. |
|
isnt he the clown who said "you Christians and your prayers don't do jack sh!t" or something mocking like that?
|
|
He also wrote for quiz bowl for years before going on jeopardy as a contestant, which was utter bullshit.
That's the closest thing you could get to a "pro" jeopardy player coming in. If Alex was a bit smug about people who didn't know the answers/questions just because he was able to see them on a card, I'm sure jennings who wrote them is significantly worse. |

Ken Jennings is but one of several interim hosts. Katherine Council on Foreign Relations Lolita Express Couric and Aaron Rodgers are others. One thing is certain: we don't need some asshole comedian in the role, nor do we need a woman.
|

There will be a series of new hosts for that show until someone who fits will finally make the ratings return to normal
There is a saying in broadcast anything. You never want to be the one to follow the King. Trebek was the king of that show |

They will eventually get a pro or a woke LGB and ruin the show.
Karnak saw this coming. |

He sucks.
Don't worry though. Katie Couric will be on soon enough making anti-Trump statements... |

They should get the departing host of Wheeler Dealers, is it Ant Anstead, the tall British guy that replaced Edd.
Who do I write to? |

His voice is annoying and not smooth like Alex. Plus he doesn't seem sincere and it's getting worse with that cunt luck hosting next.

Funny, my 10yo grandson and I had a discussion about why Jennings would be bad. It's not about intelligence as much as personality. We concluded Mike Rowe would be a good choice.

Maybe I just remember his run on the show well but I thought he did great. Oh well.
I don’t get the smarmy and condescending thing, I’ve seen that elsewhere and don’t get it. He’s way nicer than Alex (RIP, GOAT) was. |

I like Jeopardy because I am fairly good and getting the right answers.
I don't really care about Jennings' politics, and I didn't care about Trebek's politics. I think Jennings is doing fine. But I think LeVar Burton is the man for the job. |

Quoted: His voice is annoying and not smooth like Alex. Plus he doesn't seem sincere and it's getting worse with that cunt luck hosting next. View Quote His voice is the most annoying part, I agree. He doesn’t have the deep, soothing voice needed for TV/radio host roles. Trebek had that. Jennings sounds like a snarky teenager even if he doesn’t mean to come across that way. It’s actually kind of disappointing. |
