Got the news last night that the lodge I applied to has voted and I was accepted! Beyond excited for this part of my life to begin! I'm a younger guy (Mid 20s) my friend group doesn't really get it, so figured I'd share the news with some folks who will care!

Congratulations my friend.

Relax and enjoy your degrees.
Try to take everything in. It's a great process.

I'm about 45 minutes east of Norwood but I went to trade school in Norwood. Small world.

Congratulations friend.

The EA degree is by far the most confusing. But as it all comes together, it’s a very rewarding experience.

Great. Not sure how it works in your area but have you started learning your “lecture”?

Yeah so we had cipher training, we don't NEED to memorize our degree in Massachusetts apparently you do in other parts of the country, but it is obviously encouraged. I'm going to see another 1st degree in a few weeks at another lodge that I'm really looking forward to. You kind of get bombarded going though it so id love to be able to see it done not on myself to be able to take more of it in.

Congratulations to yourself! It age gap is there, Going to lodge of instruction with other EA's did show that there were others around my age at lodges in my district. But for the most part I don't mind the age gap its refreshing to be able to have mostly (it is still a group of men) adult conversations with actual meaning behind them.
