The Jeep Scrambler Forum used leaked info and photos of camouflaged prototypes to render what the truck will likely look like. (Jeep Scrambler Forum) Link |

I’m curious of how these will shake out.
Will it just be a minivan with a Jeep/truck like exterior? |

Pretty snazzy.
One of those Sorta want, just not at anywhere near what they are going to want for one, vehicles. |

Unlike a lot of other arfcomisms, the mall crawler stereotype is a legitimately accurate stereotype. Especially for wranglers.
I almost never see a stock wrangler anymore. Its got about 20k worth of bolt on accessories, and never leaves the black top. ALWAYS seen pristine with nary a smudge. I don't hate, but jealous they have the money to spend so frivolously on unused accessories. One could have a lot of fun taking mall crawlers out for what they're supposed to be doing. It's a shame they will never use em to their capacity. ETA: i really like that truck's design. The only thing that keeps me from buying jeeps is their subaverage reliability and resale. Oh, and I'm too poor haha |
edit - "lifestyle truck". "I'll go be poor over there...." |
I’d be interested depending on price, but figure it will probably be full of electrical problems like every other Jeep I have ever experienced.

They're going to charge out the wazoo for this truck:
Marchione spoke at the detroit show yesterday and talked about JT:
"The Jeep Wrangler-based pickup truck does not yet have a name, despite press reports that it will carry the historic "Scrambler" name. Marchionne said the Jeep pickup will be "expensive; intentionally so" because it is designed as a lifestyle truck that is likely to generate annual sales below 100,000 units http://www.autonews.com/article/20180115/OEM01/180119791/fca-could-be-net-cash-positive-by-june-marchionne-says View Quote |

Get a great deal and time it correctly, it is actually possible to sell a used Wrangler for more than you paid. |

A good friend of mine had a 1987 Jeep Comanche with the inline 6.
He put 196K on it before he put it out of its misery in 2008. |

Bringing back the J2000? Commanche? Scrambler?
Aaaaahh...Scrambler 2.0. Okies. |
Looks good, probably the best application for the JK chassis.
Does the whole top come off? Like down to the bed?
If not no care. Shameless TJ owner here. |
Looks good to me, maybe they won’t monkey it up before it’s made
It will be an unlimited with the upper ass end chopped off.
Props to jeep though. After teasing for 87 years they actually built the concept. (Not counting the Scrambler.) |
My truck is utilitarian in nature, used for work. I couldn't work in that thing but it looks kinda cool, I guess.

Spotted: 2019 Jeep Scrambler Pickup! |
When Jeep announced it would release a new Wrangler (the JL), Ford stated it would release a new Bronco. We now have the JL Wrangler, will soon have the JL pickup, and Ford is still dicking around and can't even agree upon a body type for the Bronco

Kinda reminds me of the baby Hummer H3 with the open "bed" in the back.

I already owned a Sport Trac. Couldn’t use it as a truck, couldn’t use it as an suv.

As an owner of a stock JK, previous owner of a stock TJ, I'll gladly take one of these. Just like my other Jeeps, it'd be muddy, full of gun paraphernalia. But, now I can throw the dead carcasses in the bed and not on a hitch basket.

Bring back the Commanche and then we'll talk. Looks like a 4dr Jeep with a chopped ass end.
It's kind of cool, but "Scrambler" sounds like an IHOP breakfast name.
