But at one time he was just a fourth-rate actor making some pretty watchable B-grade action flicks. I say "Commando" may top them all for great lines and comic book action. It's a classic for sure.
T2 might be my favorite, but Commando is has all the glorious 80s cheese you would ever need. |

At the time it came out, I found it interesting that the bad guy was played by Vernon Wells, who was the red-mohawked baddie in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.

I used to really like Arnold even though he is a piece of shit now.
Conan the Barbarian is his best movie with Predator and the Running Man rounding out the Top 3. Comando was a Rambo copy cat. Comando is better than Rambo and many better one liners. Still would watch it for Rae. |

Too many to choose from but I'd probably say True Lies, Predator T1 or T2.
Conan, Commando, Running Man, Total Recall, Red Sonja and The Eraser are just a bit lower on the scale but still great though. Red Heat, Conan 2,Twins, Jingle All the Way, Kindergarten Cop, The Sixth Day and Last Action Hero are bottom tier and I still like them. I haven't been watching a lot of his newer stuff, but the Last Stand was fun too. I could pretty much sit down and watch any movie he made except 9 months over and over again. |

Commando really seems to have set the template for the genre. I'm sure some could point to movies that came before it, but Commando seems to have had an i pact one everything that followed in a way that maybe only T2, and later The Matrix, have done since.
