My previous account aged out a few years ago. Joined again last yr. Getting mixed messages about whether to join as a paid member from GD. Still on the fence.
I was raised March 2001 in Panther City 1183. Family line of Master Masons for generations. Still trying to do a family search to track them down. This is my great grandfather, Thomas Evans from Cushing, OK. He spent his life doing craft work and teaching newcomers. He was the greatest man I've known and walked the walk. I have not been involved since 2001 but it's been heavy on my heart for years. I'm just currently over subscribed in county party work trying to save our country as a precinct chair and VDR. Welcome!
Those old Templar frock coats look good. But I’m glad I don’t have to wear one. |

Wisconsin’s uniform is a two or three button jacket. Attached File |

Glad to see I’m not the only one who’s been off the Arfcom radar for a while. I’ve been a member here since 2001 (actually a little before with a different name which I changed due to a typo), but it’s been a bit since I’ve browsed the forums or participated - just got busy doing things in the world.
In any case, I was raised in Pemberville Lodge (GL Ohio F&AM) in 2001, then proceeded to join the York and Scottish Rites and jumped promptly into line in… everything. I received the KYCH around 2012, finished Scottish Rite line in 2017, 33rd degree in 2019. I served as secretary of Ohio College SRICF for roughly 10 years and spend 2 years as Secretary General for High Council SRICF. Took a little break after that, needed to step away from the politics for a while. Still proud of my affiliation with the fraternity and value the times and friends I made. |
