It's been quite some time since I've been on this board so I figure I'd re-introduce myself.
I'm currently sitting in the West. I was raised in 2013 and have been an officer since 2014. I've had to move up a chair mid year twice due to Brothers having to step out. I split one year between Jr. and Sr. Master of Ceremonies and another year between Jr. and Sr. Deacon. I wish I had the opportunity to sit a full year as Sr. Deacon, but it was not to be. Professionally, I'm a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor. The funny thing about surveying is that the tools for Surveying can be speculatively compared to masonry. I'm actually working on a presentation to explain just that. Hopefully I finish it soon. I hope to contribute to some threads, be jovial in others and otherwise have a good time here. Oh, I'm 42 years old with a wife and 6YO son. I'd post more about myself, but I don't want to bore you too much! Edited: I'm a Freemason under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey F&AM. |

Raised in lodge #392, New Holland, Ohio.
Master Mason (10/26/2002) Never sat chairs, something I plan to do when I have more time to "do it right, and give it attention it deserves" I have a 20yr old son, 14yr old Daughter and 12yr old Daughter and work min 50hrs a week as installation technician - Not excuses, just reasons it's hard to become more involved at this stage of my life I've been behind on dues for last 2yrs and got a waiver of hardship from local lodge, now that I'm back making decent money again, need to get that cleared up. Best buncha fellas outside my inner circle I know. The best part is when you meet a fellow Freemason in IRL, it's like an old war buddy. Boy the stories I've been told! I've never served in Military, but knowing those close to me that have, it seems to be a very similar bond. I really like it, and was drawn to it and introduced into it by my FIL as a sitting member that's went around the chairs for the last 35yrs. Best organization I've ever been a part of IMO |

Current Chaplain and Past Master of Divver Lodge #349 in Anderson, SC
Active in both the Scottish and York Rites I have a pocket full of dues cards from many York Rite Appendant bodies My Masonic journey has been a fast and furious wild ride. Since being raised in 2007, I served as Master of Divver Lodge, I was elected head of all three local York Rite bodies, and I was appointed to several Grand Officer positions in the South Carolina Grand York Rite. Ultimately I was elected into the Grand Line of the Grand Council, and served as Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Council of Royal and Select Masters of South Carolina in 2017-2018. I received KYGCH, I'm a member of the AMD, Knight Masons, York Rite College, Royal Order of Scotland, and most recently the Red Cross of Constantine. |

Seeing you're in central AL as well, there's a good chance you know my dad. Due to work, I haven't been as active as I'd like, but he's currently the Jr Grand Deacon in the Grand Lodge of AL F&AM and does the bible presentation at a LOT of 3rd degrees throughout the state. |
