Anyone playing this on Xbox at all? I bought it the other day after reading this thread and it's definitely the most realistic fps game. I haven't found a good fps since BF2142. It's definitely taking me a while to get all of the controls figured out. Unfortunately all of my friends are content only playing Apex so I've only done local matches with bots.

Just to join you - brothers - I am playing it every day. Every single day. At least one match (I only do co-op).
PS they said that they'll make the console version compatible with the PC version - to play online together; I believe them. Hence the future is bright. This is the ONLY thing I play anymore; it just doesn't go away, it stays and if anything, it becomes more addictive. They have progressively made the AI harsher in the past two months, definitely noticeable - at least on PC. It is NOT an easy 'game' by any standard; I am either fully involved physically and mentally every time or the 'team' won't win the match; it's that tough. ETA PS I have actually configured my own Mk18 as in the game, believe it or not; and I just bought a Krink (AKSU74U) because of this game; and I will configure it very similarly  Mk18 Suppressed by SoloDallas, on Flickr

Or they would shoot you throw walls, etc. Balancing got a little bit better, but on certain maps AI gets stuck on things. Refinery for the finale for example. It used to be super intense defending that hanger. If you think its hard now, try ISMC. After returning to Vanilla I was really kicking ass lol |

Early in the Beta, I got sniped by a fucking Makarov from long distance.  Also it's boring but I usually just use a M16 with a C79. The fire rate is pretty insane even on semiauto. |

You PC boys are so lucky. There's a small chance we'll get ISMC on console I hear but won't hold my breath. And very nice mk18 clone! I want to get a psa 10.5 chf pistol before the FBATFE tries to ban/ force us to register them. Got a '86 Tula 74u kit in the basement I need to build one day also.

After a complete reinstall, I went from 15 FPS on Ultra/Max Settings to about 100ish.
Wtf was that about lol. |

I've been playing this on PS5. I have a hard time figuring out who the F to shoot sometimes. But I appreciate the mag management aspect of it. Some of the AI comments are pretty funny.

As a mechanic they just hip shot you with some type of accuracy buff. Explains why I get beat on the draw in CQB even with weapons that have fast ADS (SMG, shotguns, bolt actions) |

I had been enjoying this game, but it’s starting to feel like “COD-lite”. It seems like people play less tactically. No one seems to play with the roles either, making it feel like it’s more run and gun every man for himself if you will. It also feels like they are nerfing things as well as they reduced fall damage.
Anyone else noticing this sort of thing? |

Me and wife still play at least once a week, and yeah on console that's just gonna be the nature of the beast. Run and gun tactics, more so in domination tho for sure.
I'm borrowing my nieces oculus quest2 right now tho and found the game onward. Gonna download it tonight and test it out for the 2 hour grace period. Been watching a lot of videos and it looks pretty real on a slow tactical squad based level. 5v5 pvp. |

I find myself using the Mosin a ton of the time. The 1 hit kills with it are nice imo. Also penetrates multiple enemies in regards to chokepoints.
Or Ill just be using a M16 or AK on other classes. On coop if you are playing precinct, the final objective is great with the 50 Cal. You can prone out on the bus with the 50 cal, 8x scope, and a full carrier. You dont even get shot at and you can line up multiple enemies and take out the technical. A resupply box is also close by. |
