Ecclesiastes 10:2 A wise man's heart inclines him to the right, but a fool's heart to the left.

I rest my case.

We can see it playing out in real time.

The Teacher was indeed a prophet.

Amen.

By the way I LOVE that quote in your signature.  It's my first time seeing it!

Then why do you keep claiming it contradicts itself?

Certain translations do contradict themselves.  Do you want me to show you?

You already have and, as someone pointed out, you clearly don't understand what half of the passages are saying.

Have you ever read the true Aramaic translations, or just those that were "approved" by the catholic church?

Compiled and produced by the Catholic Church. Then translated down, simplified, and whole books tossed aside by protestants.

I read the Douay Rheims and the Latin Vulgate.  Sometimes side by side.

Is OP referring to the Hebrew Bible or the Christian Bible?

By the way, the original intent of this thread was to point out that even the Bible says that the hearts of wise people incline to the right while the hearts of the foolish incline to the left.  What we see going on in the U.S. today definitely proves the truth of that verse, along with the Bible itself.

Wait, are you being serious? I thought this was a tongue-in-cheek post, not a serious one. I doubt the Bible is referencing politicial terms we get from French government that are only a couple hundred years old.

Especially since the French government at the time Ecclesiastes was written consisted of disparate bands of naked men burning people in wicker men and in dire need of Julius Caesar's sword.

Most translations are in error because of the translators or the source material.
The original Word does not contradict itself.

John 1:1
King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
