I would probably work long enough to get everything in order before I disappeared.
Need all the legals done and in place before taking on that kind of money. |

I have 10 more years to go before my pension and lifetime medical but I guess with that much money I can pay for my needed kidney transplant!!!! But my boss has been good to me so I would throw him a cool million as a parting gift!!!!

I would put in my 2 weeks notice only because I like my boss, coworkers, and the company.
Then I am leaving Illinois and taking my family with me. I do not know where to move to other than NOT ILLINOIS. That part I will have to figure out. |

Quoted: Yes, in fact I can’t wait to get back to work. I’ve been shut down since March 13 2020 thanks to covid. My career, doing sound for bands, is more of a hobby to me anyways. I just happen to get paid for it. View Quote While not in the same industry, and I have been working. IT work is a hobby that I get paid to do. I work for my father, so I'd be at work in the morning. I enjoy what I do. |

I'd give my 2 weeks notice and work it as best I could. Owe my current boss that much.

A million? Yes. I'd pay-off a really nice house and a really nice car, clear my debt, invest the rest and live like a king off my wages without any big bills.
800 million? That's fuck you money right there |

Quoted: Prize is 865 million Would you still stay working at your job? View Quote No, I would be demanding promotion to the head of my agency in exchange for depositing the state income tax in my states and not some other states coffers. Then I would hang around for a time as my empire is consolidated while ever remaining my humble self. |

I woud work for at least a little while until a replacement was found. Hell I might even try to buy the place. With no wife, no kids, I don't have much of a reason to get up every morning without my job.
I would at least pay off all of the notes for my boss/business owner. But I have never played the loterry so the chances of my winning are fairly slim. |

I'm 30 right now, I'd probably work for another year just getting a plan together for the rest of my life. Although my work ethic might go downhill a bit.

I'd stay long enough for my company to find a good replacement for me. I like my company.
Then I would retire to my ranch in Wyoming and maybe take up Rally driving. I'd also have my own heard of buffalo. And I would buy a nice beach house around Gulf Shores Alabama and a nice fishing boat to have some place to thaw out in the winters. |

I'll be 63 in March.
No, fuck no, hell no. time to start on my bourbon collection and my motorcycle collection. Maybe a Jeep collection. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but that is pretty close to "fuck you" money
is'n't it ? |

Quoted: Where the fuck do you plan on doing this? Liberia? View Quote A million after taxes would pay off 100% of my debt with $940k left to spare. My electric bills are typically under $30 because of solar. Gas is usually under $20. I could pay off 20 years of taxes for under $50k. Buy an awesome car for under $100k. It’s not hard to live decent if you have a modest place. Powerball? I would fuck with my boss hard. I would give him one day to make good on my raise he didn’t give me last year and walk out when he can’t produce it. Never answer his calls again. Buy some land somewhere. Build a house the way I want it. Oddly enough, I would still want to do the type of work I do, but at hobby level and not in the same industry. CNC mills are pretty fucking awesome and unlike most people who dream of buying one, I actually set them up for a living. |

Quoted: Everybody, and I mean everybody, will have their hand out. Family, friends, charities, politicians, grifters, and thieves. Close friends and family will receive a letter from an attorney notifying them that they are the recipient of a large gift from anonymous donor. "Oh, you got one, too? So did I. Only wish I knew who it was so I could thank him." View Quote Seriously though I'd move to a higher end area anyways and you don't have to disclose your life story to anyone. Nope, wife and I would become full time travelers. I'd pay off my house and move my MIL and AIL into the house to live while we are gone.
After a few years of traveling, we would start deciding where we are gonna build our new shop house to hold our new classic cars/motorcycles. |

Of course I would keep my job, as we learned from arfcomers you need at least $900million to retire comfortably.
But seriously I already quit my job for zero lottery winnings so there's your answer. I should have wasted some money on lottery tickets so maybe I wouldn't have to hope Dollar General calls me for an interview. |
