I use ID.me all the time, no issues. In fact the VA even uses it when you log into their My HealtheVet website to make appointments, fill prescriptions and such. I doubt any government agency, especially the VA, would use ID.me if it wasn't secure.

Yep. Got verified a few years back & have used it at several places now. I actually prefer it to sending a scan of my DD214.
