Appears to be some variant of an Ibanez Artist but I can't confirm both the headstock shape and "I" logo on any other double cutaway Artist model. Fretboard inlays are off also.

There's an reverb listing for a 2008 arx320 with that logo and one other from 2009.
The inlays are different though as is the tail piece. 'll keep digging as I'm bored.
Ok.
I've seen a few 06-09's with that logo. Even in a catalog iirc.
Same with the big block inlays.
What's throwing it off is number of controls and the tail piece.
Most higher end artist had it, but....not that head stock...nor only 3 lots.

Plus digging for it... is as bad as when I was looking up some Washburn guitars that we're older.

Ill keep digging.

Close as I can find.
It's an 2006 ARX series.. arx 100 or arx300.

Look

Arx100

Inlays,head etc are same as 2006 arx100

Also the arx300 is a quilted top. The 100 is not...and the inlays while block are fancier on the 300 series.

Cool looking guitar I like it.

Found ..

https://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/ibanez-arx100ca-electric-guitar

Now, worth $300?

ETA: new MSRP $399 so not in same class as vintage Artist models..

The arx series as shown in your pic was a 2-3 year deal. Before it changed out specs in 07.
The 100 series is the lowest option . Hence the lower grade inlay and chessy headstock shape and logo.
A 2006 artist wont command what a 78 or 82 would. Same as a 2006 martin vs a 1956.......

I assume its a pic from an ad and your were trying to figure out value.

Yeah, local ad and I was trying to see if it might be an older model... I actually like the headstock but I never buy a used guitar for 75% of new unless it's something rare/collectible like a 1980 artist would be. Aside from the inlays, anyone know how the fit/finish is on these?

My daughter says she's ready to move from her student grade Yamaha acoustic to electric and the Ibanez Artcore semi-hollowbodies are really a lot of guitar for the money and I could do something cool for her with piezo saddles too. Dark eye makeup and guitar....I think a stool and a coffee house are in her future .

I agree. Reason i keep eyeing the newer as53 and 73...
The higher end artist/prestige are real nice.

The lower end 53 is under 299$ ,and sweetwater has that inspection, set up free deal when its 299 and up.
Local GC, only has a base 73 and its tobacco fade/satin , its not bad but not what id like for 4 bills.

Yeah but I'd rather have than an LP... Just my preference for the money.

I am an all Ibanez guy, I would pass unless you dont care about resale price. Lots of Ibbie fans out there, they just dont go up in value. An Old 30 year+ Jem is still about the same price it sold new.
