Thinking I want something small. There’s times where I go to the store or somewhere and just wear comfortable pants and don’t carry IWB. Looking for something that I can throw in my pocket or in my jacket. Looked at a P238 and a S&W Bodyguard today. I’ve got a P365 and a Shield but those are a little two big in my opinion.

I've had 0 malfunctions with my Gen 1 LCP. Had it for several years and fired about 450 rounds without issue.
I hate the gun. Its lame, dinky, no fun to shoot, but its invaluable for deep (restricted) carry areas, etc. |

P938.
I carry front pocket every day at work. Fantastic little gun that shoots 9x19. |

LCP 2 if you want a semi auto. J-frame if you want a little better round, a bit more reliability and feel okay with a revolver. Small revolvers hide in a pocket better than comparatively sized semi autos do. The cylinder is the biggest thing, while the grip, the frame and the barrel are much thinner than anything on a semi. And you can actually grip a J-frame when drawing from a pocket.

Kahr P380 is what I carry. I got an LCP II for my wife. It's a nice gun. If I didn't already have the Kahr I'd have bought one.

I know a guy that carries a .22 tilt barrel Beretta . I need one of those .

Lcp 2. I have been know to drop a naa 22mag in my pocket when I’m alone out and about. Better than harsh words and a sharp stick I figure

I've been carrying my Glock 42, Single stack .380
Fits in my back pocket, and I carry a spare mag next to my wallet in the other back pocket for a year or two now.. Works well. Fun to shoot and surprisingly accurate. And ultra reliable. You would do well with this pistol, methinks... |

I own two LCP's and both are reliable.
During the summer I decided to purchase a Smith 642 Pro to carry with a bit deeper pockets such as my jeans during the cooler months. Very reliable as well. In fact some might argue totally reliable. |

LCP's are reliable little pistols. I have smaller hands and I really like my Bodyguard. After reading BamaShooter's account of what his dad's 380 did, I consider it fine to get me out of trouble.

My stupid small light Kahr CW380 is my go-to choice for a true pocket gun. If I want something with more punch, I chose my Kimber Solo 9... which is slightly larger/thicker, and quite a bit heavier. Both have been dead reliable for me. I've compared them to just about everything else out there and they are about the smallest/lightest in their respective calibers. The Kimber 9 is smaller than many others' .380s in fact.
When I want to REALLY free-ball it, I'll take my tiny NAA .22LR revolver. That would be a truly messed-up situation if I ever had to use it, but it still beats the hell out of a stick or a knife. |

I have a bodyguard 380.
I hate the trigger though. Honestly I rarely carry it. I wish someone would make a decent striker fire. Kahr and diamondback both suck. |

Ruger LCP 2, had issues at first called a Ruger and they took care of me 2 week turn around time, they replaced the barrel and it has been 100% since then.
The trigger is amazing, sights are pretty good for its class, and it feels good in my hand. Attached File |

I’ve carried a Seecamp .32 for over 20 years and it’s been fine for my needs.

Autos: Khar PM-9
LCP G42 Revolvers: any Scandium framed S&W (342/337pd, 340/360pd) Ruger LCR is pretty light for a less expensive alternative (fatter though) I went through 2 S&W 442's that were out of time right out of the box, but had good luck w/637 - I like an exposed hammer on little revolvers |

P3AT, but I prefer my wife's P32, easier to shoot and holds one more round.

The LCP is not a fun gun in any way. Mine has been 100% reliable for past 500 rounds, but it’s no fun to shoot. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

LCP; it's been extremely reliable and despite the minuscule sights, it's extremely accurate within a reasonable distance and with a little practice. A heavier recoil spring from Wolff helps a little with the recoil as does adding a Talon grip.

I much prefer airweight j frame . for ex. s & w 642. You can put a revolver in your jacket pocket and fire without pulling it out.

Another vote for the LCP. It does what you need it to do, and does it well. The included pocket holster works well and doesn't print.
