I’ve done it it’s a super huge tourist thing down in Cancun.

That's Merritt's Mill Pond in the Florida panhandle.  Several drowned springs and caves were revealed during the drawdown.  Many were already well mapped by cave divers.

I've done it in cenotes in Mexico. These were all extensively explored and were strung with lights. Still scary when you come to a wall and have to swim under... hopeful that there is an opening on the other side!

That said, someone had to go in there first.

I just saw this today. It’s interesting to see Merrits Mill Pond dry. I used to dive Jackson Blue, Twin and the Washtub, way back when. The caves there are very pretty.
