Now you figured why you should wear gloves hunting or even walking in the woods. Have a beer, it could be worse.

I always wear gloves and sunglasses in the woods. Branches will get you when you least expect it.

Tripped and impaled my calf on a wire dog gate.

Wife heard the ruckus and yelled at me for being loud. I was like hey can you bring me a big towel please.

I once was in the dark searching for a known deer hunting spot and having trouble finding it. Relieved when I finally arrived, I let loose my pack and turned my head towards and right into a cedar stob. It was about as big around as my finger and poked me in the soft spot of my orbit just under my eyeball. It made me see bright and purple blobs of the sort you see when you mash on your eyes. I got a shallow, scraping sort of wound that actually was not too bad, but I came really close to loosing my eye that morning there in the dark.
