I enjoy building them and competing but I generally bring just the handguns or the shotgun when I go to the range. Been that way since before the crunch. Not really sure why, but my handguns skills have improved significantly.

To keep a hobby interesting you constantly have to introduce new stuff....
different shooting positions, transition from pistol to rifle and back, .... I love my AR15s because they are versatile, accurate, cheap to shoot and exceptionally good to introduce new shooters. I also enjoy classic firearms, sporting clay, ... gotta keep it going |

Haven't shot any of my personal ones in several years, maybe almost five years. Still was shooting similar stuff I had to qualify on at work during most of that time though.
I just prefer handguns and .22 rifles to shoot for personal fun. |

I get it.....I dumped a bunch of ARs in the "panic before the PANIC" we had here in Virginia (I don't even recall the reason behind it) and I thought well that's it, I'll stand pat, I have enough, no more ARs for me......Then a very lightly used 90s era Colt Sporter 9mm Carbine came along for a very reasonable price and I was all like "Oh Shit, I Gotta Have It!"
