Ask me anything?

I am paralyzed from the mid chest down.
I was dropped twice in the er, because it wasn't made clear to staff my legs and lower body are for show currently.
I've blackedout twice from being put on a backboard even after I said I have a serious back injury and can't lay straight.
I am terrified I am going to come out of this ina wheelchair.

I am now home and am a T10 paraplegic for now. I can wiggle both big toes and stand with a walker or bars. I am improving daily and shall walk again.

My bill for surgery and 10 days in the hospital came in. $102,000 how much is my portion? $450.

My back surgery went extremely well - 55 weeks ago as of this past Monday. I realize that many of them go poorly, and I'd never suggest surgery as a first option, but sometimes they do go very well. I'm thankful that mine was so smooth.
