Found dead after her husband claimed she ran off. Autopsy says she was strangled. Friend claims Alexis told her that her husband had strangled her several times in the past.

If that's the case he would have been better off calling it in immediately and not hiding her body. No one will ever believe his story now that he's lied to the cops.

Maybe. If you admit you killed your wife accidentally you're going to get a trial anyway. The prosecution only has to convince a group of people too stupid to get out of jury duty that it wasn't an accident.

My understanding was domestic violence.

As some else posted strangulation is a very high indicator the abuser will eventually kill the victim.

That happened in a town in my area 2 or 3 years ago.

The woman liked to be choked during sex. She met up with some guy for a hookup. They were in her car and he was choking her with a seatbelt during sex. She died.

She was found Nude & in a Bad Part of Town after supposedly leaving the house.

If she hitched up a ride (easy for a pretty girl to do), it might not have been some super friendly Uber driver ...

Anyway you look at it, very sad that it turned out she was dead.

Can't speak to the Houston part(only ever been to DFW and Lubbock) but I agree on the meh part. Especially if you go back before whatever alterations she did to herself.

Just going to wait on this one. Shame what happened. Never know, could have been the hubbie and could have been a boyfriend on the side. I have not followed the case and don't know if he has an alibi or not. Looks bad for him unless he had dozens of folks around him when the murder took place.
