Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - I have a arlo camera system. It sucks. What dosent suck?

Arlo has been shitty. Batteries life isn't bad but I've had 3 batteries just unable to be charged. The picture isn't the best, very choppy. Half the time the app dosent notify. What's better?

I use lithium in mine.  Off amazon and bulk. No problem.

I’ve had arlo for years. Never a problem with the batteries but bought a second three camera system for seecond home and it would only let me add two cameras without upping to a paid subscription.

Did I not pay for six fucking cameras?

The way some companies do business stymies me sometimes.

Arlo is good within limitations.

Hardwired cams (Dahua, Hikvision, USA stuff if you have DEEP pockets) on a dedicated PC with Blue Iris or Synology NAS (licensing pricey if you have a lot of cams) are two options.
