I was just thinking about my .17. I checked Scheels and bass-pro hoping to find some .40 cent a round ammo to shoot. No joy.

Could not find .17 HMR anywhere in central MO while visiting or at my local hardware store. Went to a gun shop 45 min away (well off the beaten path) and he had at least 1500 rounds. $17.99 a box of 50. He has fewer now.

I love this caliber. Got a .17 hmr as an extra in a trade about 10 years ago and it’s one of my favorite guns to shoot. Stupid accurate and you can watch the bullet impact thru the scope due to low recoil. I shot it a lot during the 2012-2014 panic due to ammo availability and will probably do it again this summer
