Parisienne Brogham. This car has sat in the same spot in a customer's driveway for the entire 12 years I've been going there. Only 89,000 miles. Perfect interior, other than the typical 80s car smell. Runs like a top, cold a/c and hot heat, like new tires. I offered 1500 bucks and he took it.
I've already been offered 2k and 2300 from a couple different dem voters at work, but I think I'll drive it for a while. Attached File Attached File |

Needs one of those magnetic red dome lights and a snub-nose .38.

Dang a Parisienne with no vinyl top? Probably increases the rarity and value to 2300 bucks or so

I had a similar model, a Buick LeSabre. The trunk sleeps 4 ... maybe more.

I had a fully optioned 86 caprice in that body style. iirc 700r4 with a 2.65 rear, 70mph was like 1200rpm.
I generally enjoyed owning that car. |

My grandma had a gold one,
Hers had whatever the biggest motor offering was, she liked to “put the hammer down” I loved that thing Whenever I was home on leave I’d borrow my grandads car, 79 bonniville brougham, sky blue on sky blue, landau top and crushed velvet seats, interior was wood, He worked for Pontiac from the late 40suntil the early 80s |

My 86 Tahoe I bought new in 1985.
I've done all the mechanical work on it myself, from new fuel pump, to timing chain when I replaced the water pump. First thing I did was the Pro Comp lift after owning it a month. If the engine ever gives it up, I'll drop a new crate in it, right now it's at about 190,000 miles and still strong. Damn sight cheaper than a new car cost! I'd trust this to go anywhere in CONUS and back, the only thing I'm getting ready to farm out is a new paint job. Attached File |

For roughly 2k you can more than double the horsepower.

How about late 1970s? There were some big, old boats from that time period that I loved to drive. One of my favorites were the 1977-1979 Ford LTD II. I can remember when I turned 16 and got my license back in 1993, me and one of my friends would get out and hit the back country gravel roads in his grandpa's LTD. It was fun as hell to get it fish tailing in the gravel. It was no problem at all to get the back end to start to kick out on loose gravel, yet the damn car was so long, it was easy to control and it didn't try to come around too fast. So naturally, everywhere we went, we went there sideways. LOL. I guess I was big into drifting before drifting became a thing. https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5464/8863201829_28942ce217_b.jpg These things were boats...as well as tanks. What was funny, my buddy had cut his teeth driving one of those things. He later had some sort of little compact rear wheel drive car and when he tried doing the same maneuvers in it he did with the big LTD, he'd often end up doing a complete 360 spin, as obviously the shorter wheelbase wasn't nearly as forgiving. My grandpa had a Parisienne when I was a kid, although I don't think his had those nice wheels. Pretty cool, OP.
