Tough to gauge ~depends on what one considers the tipping point.
Very concerned some big and irreversible things could happen fast but leaning toward "no denying it" in 5-6 years. Just looking back at the last 12 years it's hard to say we still live in the same place. |

It will never implode, what this time period has shown me is that the run of the mill American could care less about corruption, blatant propaganda and hypocrisy, and the erosion of natural rights. I only wish there was still a draft so people that don't care at least have blood in the game.

Oh wow! Another what if post and thread.
How so very insightful |
|
It's already over. Its just that it will drag out like a covid patient on a resperator. I give it a year - if that.
|

I said less than 2, but reality is less than one.
It’s accelerating on both sides. So much so it is unsustainable. |

87+ years.
It is human nature to see the fall of society in their lifetime...doesn't matter what time in history, or lands that you are part of. And it's very difficult to assign "when" it starts. How much time between Rome's peak and the fall? Persian peak and the fall? Long story short, many years, centuries even. We may not be the US of yesterday but we'll still be here for a long time still |

Guinan: Trouble sleeping?
Capt. Picard: It's something of a tradition, Guinan - Captain touring the ship before a battle. Guinan: Hmm. Before a *hopeless* battle, if I remember the tradition correctly. Capt. Picard: Not necessarily. Nelson toured the HMS Victory before Trafalgar. Guinan: Yes, but Nelson never returned from Trafalgar, did he? Capt. Picard: No, but the battle was won. Guinan: Do you expect this battle to be won? Capt. Picard: We may yet prevail. That's a... a conceit. But... it's a healthy one. I wonder if the Emperor Honorius watching the Visigoths coming over the seventh hill truly realized that the Roman Empire was about to fall. This is just another page in history, isn't it? Will this be the end of *our* civilization? Turn the page. |

Anti maskers calling people who take covid seriously doomers
This thread shows who the real doomers are |

If the exact same scenario that played out in the 1970s played out today, it'd be game over. In 1979 debt to gdp was under 40% and our economy wasn't nearly as dependent on cheap credit as it is now. Imagine 20% interest rates in 2021 in a country with 130% debt to gdp. Paul Volcker & The Great Inflation - a clip from "Money For Nothing: Inside the Federal Reserve" ...or socialism and money printing actually works long term and I've been worrying about nothing. |

As we know it, tops 2 years, unless we can save the Republic.

A lot of people voted 2 years or less yet I continue to see post about buying new cars and houses. Makes a guy question things.
|
|
will i finally be able to afford a house in merica after merica implodes?
not asking for a friend. |

President Trump killed, nationwide call out of troops, and the announcement of the great reset are all that's left.
Wars usually start in the spring but CWII will be more looting/burning/murder than war so it might start sooner. |
|
My guess is that things will be pretty chill right up 'till when the Democratic Party introduces the "Comprehensive Safe America" (or whatever flowery bullshit they call their laundry list of extreme gun control measures all packaged up in 1 handy piece of commie legislation) bill and rubber-stamps it all the way to Biden's desk.

Quoted: It’s already imploded. Just waiting on the aftershock View Quote This. When you have a blatantly illegitimate government that uses the full force of the obese and trans national guard to force their illegitimate regime into "legal" power, the nation of the United States as established by the Constitution has ceased to exist. How long will it take the continent-wide economic zone known as the US to catch up? Hard to say. One of the worst things about having been so successful in the 20th century, is that it will now take our clown empire a while to financially collapse... probably. |
|
As long as the dollar remains the world's reserve currency, it'll be a long, slow death spanning decades, and we'll drag the rest of the world down with us.
If a viable alternative to the dollar presents itself, then the implosion should happen rather quickly, and we'll be just like Venezuela. Better get reading on recipes for Zebra, Lion, Tiger, cats and dogs. |
|
I compare it to Venezuela. When Venezuela took a hard left and overextended itself with endless entitlement programs that they couldn't afford, it took roughly 12 years before they ran out of money and medicine and had to start eating their pets.

Define implode. Constitutional government? - gone already. Stable government? - well the CCP ironed out what the USSR messed up, so that could be a while. We all get in a big fight? - TBD.

Tyranny first. there's still blood to squeeze out of the public.

And at some point a number of people will stop signing up as Volunteer and they will draft. Who else will fight their useless wars? |

It will be entertaining at times.
AOC and the Squat won't be satisfied until they run everything. The Swamp will fight it all the way |
|
It will end slowly unfortunately. This country will be mexico ii or Brazil.
Just look at California???? The middle class running for thier lives and just people with nothing left to lose and billionaires. This will creep across the country. It already infected Oregon and Washington state. NYC on the east coast is a 1st class shit hole as well. The despair of the welfare state is what 90% of the population in this country will have to look forward to. Unfortunately Texas is next in the crosshairs, once that state goes the fall will be quicker. The establishment gop is gonna lie yet again and tell you how their gonna protect texas values. In truth their gonna get rich selling out their values. Its is a shame. The world is finally get to see just how benevolent the ccp is gonna be. That's the future. Theirs nothing anybody can do it about now. The commies won. |

It’s not going to implode,it’s going to be a long sink to be the peer of Brazil.
|
|
As a student of history I would say you are seeing the final spasms now. That’s why it’s so obvious. As soon as we are on to the “reformation” the entire process will be quick. A lot of people will actually prefer the “new normal” because it will mirror the local and online echo chambers they live in.
