1/4/21 - lowest rack price, Ohio / PA / WV market - 1.32

1/22/21 - lowest rack price, Ohio / PA / WV market - 1.43

Increase of 11 cents.

Crude oil futures have gone up slightly as well as cuts buildup.

Increases you’re seeing are not being primarily driven by demand. Or by crude / wholesale pricing.

It’s driven by the street price because they can get the margin.

This is precisely what the lefties want.

My Wife's brother in law is a total douche.  He's married to my wife's sister.  Originally from Virginia but moved to Chicago.  They got married maybe 10 years ago or so, but apparently when they met he was just about homeless.  He's in his early 50s now I believe, maybe 8 years older than his wife.

He's destroyed 2 of my wife's sister's cars driving for Uber.  The first was a Ford Focus (bought by her parents as a gift) that was totaled by a hit and run driver in Chicago.  So, then she bought a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid since she needed a nice car for her job.  Well, somehow he drives that for Uber and has been in maybe 2 small crashes while driving for Uber.  He was a "nice guy" and let the other drivers just leave, LOL! So, she had to use the totaled Ford Focus, but sometimes she has to visit high profile clients and ends up having to rent a "nice" car so they don't think she's a bum when she comes rolling up in the Ford Focus with the bumper that's zip tied together (I stitched it together like a stab wound for her some years ago.)

Anyway, he truly believes that fuel prices need to be higher so that people won't travel and drive as much.

And his wife bought their home, he's the stay at home dad.  Mortgage and deed is all in her name alone, though.  And since the Kung Flu he stopped driving for Uber entirely - I guess that's a good thing, for her car at least.

I don't have any positive COC compliant words for people like that at all.  Fuck them *both,* in all perfect honesty.  I'm done with these people, even if it makes my wife upset or sad.  I'm not lifting another fucking finger for people who need my help but then end up costing me more everyday because of their stupid Marxist political support.
