I don't think she has any plans to right now. I think she hated being first lady and regretted letting DJT run for president. But I don't think she hates being married to Trump enough to divorce him even though she is definitely sick of his ass. But getting out of DC and the spotlight might heal that. Trump losing the election and getting booted off social media may end up saving their marriage.
However, if Trump ends up in real legal trouble, like getting indicted by Letitia James, she may reconsider and peace out with Barron rather than deal with all that. |

I don't know enough about what Trump or Melania are like behind closed doors, but they've been through hell together at this point, and that probably counts for something. A few years ago the media kept trying to run stories to drive a wedge between the two of them and act like there was one, but she had a "hot mic" moment a few months back where she let loose about how evil and disgusting the media was being toward them. The way she spoke made it pretty clear that she viewed their family as a team, so I'd like to think for both of their sakes that they're both "ride or die." The media, Democrats, and complicit GOP establishment have successfully manufactured the impression that Trump is "leaving in disgrace," but she knows as well as anyone what really happened. First Lady or not, she didn't leave during the last four years when her husband was Literally Hitler, and surely the left would have showered her with adulation for doing so. At this point I'd need some evidence before believing she'd leave now either.

Being somewhat privvy to a little of the dynamic of a marriage like theirs, it is an odd thing. You would be amazed what you see/hear as a fly on the wall and/or when you spend several weeks/months dealing exclusively with the lady of the house. More like a business arrangement then a marriage. I mean they increasingly all are becoming like that but theirs (the wealthy and powerful, not necessarily Trump's) is more of a pure contractual arrangement then one borne of love and respect. |
