With PC on I can have pistol and long gun and IFAK AND some protection. Road trip —it goes in truck. I admit, I don’t carry it in and out every day, back and forth to work. |

If you really want it by the bed, the easiest way would probably be to move your nightstand forward by about 5 inches so it will go behind it. That way it's available to grab and the wife doesn't have to look at it.
