The Shirley Basin is a UFO hot spot, and a prominent Rancher (which I believe became a State Rep) supposedly had a UFO land on his ranch outside of Medicine Bow which showed him where to drill for water. I've seen weird cheap in that area when I was on the Union Pacific and ran bnb onnthebold Transcontinental Route.
I've seen the spook light in Crossett, AR several times.
I've heard many freaky stories happening around the Uinta Range, Pedro Mountains (where the Pedro Mountain mummy was discovered (the mean "little people" the Sioux, Crow, and Shoshone speak about), the Sierra Madres.
My mother, aunt, and and uncle have spoken of "werewolves" on the bgg old family place in Louisiana. The mansion my grandparents lived in on the 400 acre place was haunted as all get out,but burned down in 1987. We were there that day when nhc it burned. It was built out of brick from the old Kackson Parish courthouse that had burned early in the 20th century. The fire got so hot we found a bunch of S&W revolvers with the cylinders welded to the frame that were still hot to the touch two weeks after the fire.
