Funny, it looks much better to the naked eye than what these crazy cameras on phones can do these days. There is a textured matte finish to the center of dial that catches light beautifully, but looks jacked up on photos as the camera sensor is probably too sensitive. Wearing it today and it is an amazing balance between casual and sophistication. Normally I'm a dive watch guy and will only break something like this out with a long sleeve shirt and a jacket. I'm wearing it today with a buttoned down collared casual shirt and it looks right at home.

I prefer a watch with Arabic numbers, and no date. The standard British army/navy watch fits the bill for me.
