I think there's exactly a 0% chance this "leaked" video isn't something officially sanctioned from Ford.
Bronco Mud Testing About the source: "Bronco Nation is an independent enthusiast community and the first to be nationally recognized and certified by Ford. Built by a passionate and knowledgeable community of enthusiasts, Bronco Nation celebrates an iconic brand and encourages everyone that loves Bronco to join the nation. Exclusive news, community forums, events, interactive maps, helpful how-to content, and historical archives are just a few of the features that will inspire members to get the most out of their Bronco and their next adventure. Find information, find the wild, find a community of owners like you – find it first at Bronco Nation." https://community.thebronconation.com/about/ Bronco Nation - Built for Those Who Want More The Bronco was supposed to debut at NYIAS in April, but that whole COVID thing... I'd guess it debuts in June. Update: Here are the details of how/where to watch the debut: Ford secured prime-time slots on ABC, ESPN, and the National Geographic TV network, to debut the Bronco family line-up. Each channel is airing a short-film on one of three Bronco configurations. On ABC, look out for a three-minute film showcasing the 2021 Ford Bronco 4-door airing around 8:09 p.m. EST during the CMA Best of Fest concert. If you’re watching ESPN SportsCenter, the all-new 2021 Bronco Sport will be airing around 8:11 p.m. EST. National Geographic’s National Parks: Yosemite will spotlight the 2021 Ford Bronco 2-door around 8:13 p.m. EST. And case you miss it, or have cable anymore, all three Bronco films will be available for streaming on Hulu Tuesday, July 14th. You can also watch the live Bronco debut online via YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook on Monday, July 13th, at 7 p.m. https://www.thedrive.com/news/34758/heres-the-2021-ford-bronco-and-how-to-watch-its-big-tv-debut-monday-night If it's unclear, the start time is 8PM EDT/7PM CDT.

Looks lifted a bit, taller and wider tires and rims, OR tread, gotta wonder what else Ford did that you can't see. Looks like very poor articulation suspension wise even if it's tweaked a bit.
Toyota would kill it IF they could find a way to import the Land Cruisers they sell to the rest of the world. |

I wish they'd hurry up and introduce the damn thing already. IFS makes me not want one personally for offroading, but I still want to see it out there and find out what it can do. Jeep needs competition.

I had a TJ forever, I’ve been itching for a replacement. I always loved the old school Bronco’s, this could be it.

I like it and want to see how it does against the Jeep in a head to head comparison. Solid front axle on the Jeep does nothing for me since I'm not a rock crawler, and IFS on the Bronco is perfectly fine for every other situation.

Looking to sell my Tacoma next year and grab a 5th gen 4Runner,but this has me interested in the 2 door if priced right

Although anemic would like to see the 3.3l gas as we have those in some work trucks with great mileage and reliability wouldn’t mind the 3.0 diesel. However I’m sure the options will be 2.7 or 2.7 ecoboost

I live by a Ford plant and on Friday I seen a midsize SUV in that wacky camo and covers all over the sides.
Figured it was the new Bronco. |

You're not going to get a locking differential in an IFS and I can tell you that locker front and rear can help a LOT on woodland trails like I go on here in New England. I am not taking the hardcore trails, I am taking the ones ok for stock Jeeps. Then there is the articulation that helps the opposite wheel maintain traction when the other wheel is going up over an obstacle. The IFS will give you a nicer road ride, but you trade away offroad capability. Now, maybe Ford has come up with some kind of voodoo in their new Bronco front end that helps it, I don't know. This is part of why I want to see them out and competing and find out just what they can and cannot do. |

View Quote As much as I hate it, the GD "mall crawler" meme is real. #1 I don't have a locking diffs in my JKU. It exceeds my offroad needs as it sits with 2" lift and 33s. I would have bought a 4r, but the price diff was full retard for a lightly used 4WD. The 4r would have had 100-120k miles on it for what I paid for a JKU with 20k on it. That's a GD argument alone of course. #2 IMO based on ME, the vast majority local to me with rubicons are show pieces. Perhaps you have a differnet POV from your experiences, I can repsect that as I don't live in the mountains. The majority in the local club actually are sports with lifts / after market lockers. They are in the minority of all owners locally imo. #3 I understand the offroad advantages of solid axles. #4 Again, just my opinion, the vast majority of JKUs / JLUs I see driven locally would be just as fine in an IFS made suv. Ultimately, the market will determine if I am correct or not. |

Well bronco nation seems to be a webforum that has threads starting on May 21 earliest and is owned by Jackson-Dawson, a creative marketing agency out of Dearborn.

View Quote Ford engineers: Let's do another goofy 4 pot or V6 turbo slap ecoboost stickers on it and give it a 12 speed slush box that is next to impossible for the average off roader to modify/repair. It's funny because it's true. Well. Maybe they'll compromise and redo the DiPShit6 but give it more gear sets and synchros. Add glued on valve covers that leak into the bellhousing and toast clutches for LOLs. Then shit can the bronco in 2 years because warranty repairs are cutting into profits... It is ford... they always manage to fuck up a good thing... always... If the bronco looks like the concept photo circulating-retroish, I'd get one. Just to spite chevy for that abomination they slapped silverado badges on. |

Here, you can see the inside rear wheel braking while the front tires drive forward, drastically improving the turn radius. The current Toyota Land Cruiser boasts such a system that makes technical wheeling easier for the big trucks." https://www.thedrive.com/news/33775/leaked-video-gives-best-look-yet-at-2021-ford-bronco-being-abused-off-road |
