Yeah, Pfizer. The day after getting the second dose, I had a headache, some body aches and chills. With some Tylenol, I was back to baseline. Not a big deal at all.

First dose - arm sore. About like flu shot
Second dose - arm sore, not as sore as after first injection. No other effects. Pfizer vaccine. |

Nurse friend got her 2nd about 2 weeks ago.

8 nurses called in today after getting round 2.
3 reported vomiting and 100-102 fever with NSAIDS on board. All reported body and joint aches, injection site soreness and feeling like site. Wife got her 2nd dose today, Moderna like all the others got and she hit 99.7 with meds on board and has aches and joint pain. She's just hoping she doesn't puke. Fun stuff. I won't be getting it anytime soon. |

I had the first dose. My arm was sore for a couple of days. Waiting on the second dose mid February. I have heard the moderna vaccine is the good stuff that makes you more immune to anything if you survive.

My dad had his second dose Tuesday.
No problems other than runny nose and arm is sore. But he is a kas'saq(white man).  Some of the natives have had reactions. Mild to almost killed them. All have received the Pfizer vaccine. |

I had a long discussion with my Doc. Retired USAF Flight Surgeon and IMHO a pretty sharp guy. He , as always, explained to me me that I'm an idiot and to GET THE VACCINE. Wife and I got the first Moderna shot yesterday. Arm is a bit sore and wife swears her arm is going to fall off. Next round is mid feb. I'm headed to the range this morning to practice building positions on barricades. Other than being a bit chilly I don't see any reason not to go.

I got my first hit (pfizer) about 24 hours ago. So far, no side effects at all. If I push on the injection site, I can feel a bit of soreness, but that's it.
I'm not supposed to have gotten it yet. I'm not in any group that's currently being vaccinated. But.... I drove my 93 year old Grandma to get hers, and they offered it to me. So, like an idiot, I said yes. I've been thinking about how there are people with bad reactions. Could be 2 things. Maybe those people are the ones who would have had a really bad time with real covid. Or, those without bad reactions already had it. |

I had the same reaction after both doses of the Pfizer vaccine - about 24 hours afterwards, fever up to 101.6, tachycardia to 130 resting, BP up to 168/100, fatigue. Fevers subsided over 24 hrs. Had some additional muscle aches with 2nd dose (this was despite premedicating for the second dose with tylenol and ibuprofen every 6 hours begininng right before the dose). I did have a pretty nasty bout with Covid back in May - didnt get hospitalized, but had constant fevers, shortness of breath (O2 sats in the low 90's) and fatigue for a week. When I had symptoms after the first dose of the vaccine, I talked with an ER colleague, and he said to come in. Only treatment was tylenol I took before I headed in, and fever and vitals slowly trended down over 4 to 5 hours - I didn't have any other reason for septic picture, so we decided not to get crazy with ruling out stuff. Decided that my body mounted a heck of an immune response, causing symptoms - so in my case immunity lasted at least 6 months. Took the second dose just to have my card filled out because you know they are going to require that shit eventually to get on a plane... |
