When I was working in North Dakota the two most popular ways to get crude out of Canada and North Dakota was pipeline and railroad, railroad being more expensive of the two (we were building gas plants to lower the volatility of the crude to lower the shipping cost)

Executive Order shutting down the Keystone pipeline will seem to divert a large percentage of crude shipping back to rail.  The major player when I was up there was Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF), now indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, controlled by Warren Buffett..

I was wanting to buy a few shares of BNSF, but it seems you can't, or I can't find the ticker.

Didn't Buffet buy Heinz from John Kerry's wife when he was sec state under Obama?
And didn't Obama shut down Keystone shortly thereafter?

BNSF was publicly traded at one time, under the symbol BNI ( I think ).. all the shareholders decided to sell it to Berkshie Hathaway, making Buffett the 'controlling owner'..

Rail is gonna be a solid investment if the Keystone gets shutdown..

My though it, with Biden's goons shutting down the Pipeline, it'll be a boon for the railroad.

However, as pointed out above, BRK.A (Warren Buffet's goons) own it, its not its own stock ticker that can be bought. You can buy stock in BRK.A for $352,801.000 a share and they don't even pay a Div...
To my knowledge, you can't just buy just BNSF.
